How is your health? How about your healthcare? Are you sure about that? Join us at Mama Java’s Coffee House on Monday, November 5th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a lively discussion on whether healthcare is really sickcare, and how to take control of your health. Our discussion will be led by Christopher O’Loughlin R.N., B.S.N. State health policy liaison for federal cancer advocacy. While healthcare is our feature subject, be sure to stick around for the free-for-all discussion that is sure to follow. Remember, its your world, talk about it…

d3salon’s inaugural gathering…
Tags: Annie Loyd, Columbia, constitution, debate, dissent, politics, radicalism, Transpartisan
d3salon met for it’s first time at Mama Java’s Coffee House on Monday Night. There was a great turnout for an inaugural event and we look forward to our future gatherings on the first Monday of each month. November’s meeting is on the the 5th, so mark your calendars. In the meantime, check this blog daily for continuing discussions of Congressional Candidate Annie Loyd, our featured speaker, and the topics we so passionately discussed and debated during the gathering. Annie introduced many in the group to the potential of transpartisan politics as a transcending movement in American society. Some of you followed with your questions and ideas on what an independent means during elections and in government. Just as spirited was the discussion of the constitution, radicalism and dissent. Especially interesting was the debate on the Comments by Columbia University President Bollinger during his introduction of Iran’s President Ahmadinejad. Check back for posts on all of these subjects during the next couple of weeks. Please take time to comment on all of the blog posts. Remember, It’s Your World, Talk About It…
